Global warming, limited resources, energy cost, all of these things are on our minds these days.  There are some great products we offer to help make your home energy efficient, and environmentally friendly.

Thermomass Insulation System is a poured in place concrete insulation system that can cut your customers energy bills by 40%.  The system is sanwiched in-between your poured concrete walls, for example the 4", of concrete 2", Thermomass insulation with 4", of concrete pictured to the right, this will give the wall a greater mass that will act as a heat sink preventing exterior heat and cold from penetrating the walls.  In addition to keeping unwanted air out the system will keep in interior air, such as air conditioning in the warmer weather and heat in the cooler weather; this will allow you to shut down the heating and cooling systems during the day in peak use times, without paying for it later in both comfort or money.   Another benefit of Thermomass is that it qualifies toward LEED certification.  We know that LEED certified projects are more in demand in New England and this product will help you achieve that certification.  Today we are looking for ways to save money by cutting energy cost and increase the value of our largest investment, our homes.  Thermomass has been used for many years in commercial buildings such as Lowe's Home Improvment stores, Pepsi, Home Depot, Anheuser Busch, Coors, Dole foods, Nordstrom, Chicago Bulls, even Rikers Island!  

Mar-Flex Waterproofing Systems-For a standard waterproofing option use Mar-Flex 5000 waterproofing membrane.  The membrane will seal water out of your basement and comes with a 15 year warranty.  (pictured below)

Add another 25-35 years to your warranty, protection for the membrane, as well as drainage by applying Mar-Flex Drain & Dry Board available in 3/4" or 2-3/8".  (pictured below)

For a 50-60 year warranty ShockWave by Mar-Flex is a crush resistant memory board made from environmentally friendly recycled materials.  This board provides superior drainage and waterproofing protection.   (Pictured below)
